Tove Jansson

Tove Jansson (1914–2001) was a Finnish-Swedish writer and artist, best known as the creator of the Moomintrolls. Her stories combine humour, philosophy and warmth and explore themes such as family, freedom and the beauty of nature. Jansson's works have achieved iconic status and have thrilled both children and adults worldwide.

Astrid Lindgren

Astrid Lindgren (1907–2002) was a Swedish author known for classics such as Pippi Longstocking and Emil from Lønneberg. Her books celebrate children's imagination, freedom and courage, while often having a social awareness. Lindgren's works have inspired generations and made her one of the world's most loved children's book authors.
